It's great to see the activity in the Tigre Incubator!

The localization in translatewiki is going well, too. There is another little thing that needs translation: namespaces. It can't be translated on translatewiki itself, but if you give them here, I'll do it for you.

@Bbeshir, a couple of related comments and questions:

Are there different words for "User" if it's a man or a woman? For example, in Arabic, there's مستخدم and مستخدمة and also نقاش المستخدم and نقاش المستخدمة.
There were a few words in the existing translations on translatewiki that were inconsistent with the translations. I've marked them for verification and possible fixing at this links: https://translatewiki.net/w/i.php?title=Special:Translate&group=mediawiki&language=tig&filter=fuzzy&action=page . Please check it and fix it if it's necessary.

@Amire80 yes nouns have gender just like Arabic, Tigrinia and Amharic, the interface does not provide a way to enter them

@Amire80 I have been adding Tigre translation to Wikidata but found that some of them are locked, what is the process for requesting to unlock them, just to add Tigre translations. Bbeshir (talk) 23:57, 14 October 2024 (UTC)

You made a little over 30 edits there. After 50 edits, you'll become autoconfirmed, and this will allow you to edit almost everything, except a relatively small number of fully-protected items. Amir E. Aharoni (talk) 00:58, 15 October 2024 (UTC)
